duh

duh. it was dec 27 2005. not 2006.

been awhile...

finally xmas is over. sometimes i dread this time of year, and sometimes i look forward to it.

noteworthy, today in 2006 i found out that i was unexpectantly expecting our last child. he is a hellion at 2 yrs now.

anyway. its strangely like 60 degrees here today, and since the snow has melted, i have a ton of dog poop in my front yard. yum.

i am SO looking forward to being able to concentrate on writing now that the chaos of december is almost over. it is so frustrating not to be able to let my thoughts and emotions out that way.

slinky!! this was the toy of the year. we now have 8 of them, when just a few days ago we had none. the coolest ones are the ones that light up in all different colors.

so the song of the day is : Stay by Cause and Effect. It is soothing me right now after a day of cleaning and getting stuff ready to donate to goodwill.

i'm making my to do lists as we speak. ugh.

ive watched some of the fan videos send to afi on you tube. i'm waiting for someone to actually do something CREATIVE with it.............

ps. G's fine now. still a little swollen. and he finally got rib of that snaggletooth that had been hanging on for weeks that we wouldnt let us pull. he sneezed it out :).

sick sick sick

so someone tell me how i can visit the dr.'s office two times, less than 24 hours apart? oh yeah. i have four reasons. G woke up and the left side of his neck was so swollen this morning it looked like either an egg had formed under his chin or he had the mumps. its neither of those, its also not strep, not an absessed tonsil, and hopefully not mono. probably a virus.

oh the joys of winter. i will be tending to sick kids today since K still has that godawful cough and 'little G' seems to be falling to all these germs too. ugh.

song of the day? i'll post 2 tomorrow.

song of the day: Suedehead by Morrissey.

I absolutely love his voice, and the way he sings this line:

"i am so very sickened. oh i am so sickened now. oh it was a good lay, good lay ect. ect., uh huh...."

i was going to try to post songs that werent really well known, but i had to go with my first choice today.

It was almost :"I dont mind if you forget me", also by Morrissey. so, take your pick.

i'm off to try to inspire my muse into action. i'm stuck on page 120 with so much to write, yet i can't get into the mood.

ok. the song of the day is a random one. i found this cd in a huge cd case by a fence one time. i thought it was awesome! there was like 60 cd's in there!! i thought, maybe i'll try to sell some of them at the record xchange b/c most of the cd's were punk and i wasnt really into it at the time.

but i listened to this cd and i loved it. so the song is "Ranma (The Kids Don't Understand) By The Invalids circa 1996.

Ranma was an anime apparently from the 90's. i never watched it, but i did make fun of my friends older brother for his obsession. anyway, i guess Ranma was a boy, who was disguised as a girl, and then when he got splashed with water he turned back between a boy and a girl? i have no idea.

one other fun fact. everyone found out i had found this huge cd case and thought i had stole it. i later found out someone had stole it from this guy's car and dumped it. anyway, no one believed me. and, this guys car was covered in astro-turf. no joke. it was glued to the whole outside of the car. nice huh? i wish i could remember the kids name....oh well.

song of the day

i woke up with a headache today. i feel alittle better after my coffee and 3 tylenol, but its raining and 51 degrees. weird, b/c like a few days ago it was 16 degrees without the windchill.

i've decided to post a song everyday...okay, maybe not EVERY day, but close enough.

so the song for today is: Reload by Dave Gahan mixed by Junkie XL (off the Radio-JXL- A Broadcast from Computer Hell Cabin album). You can find it on itunes. I like it for various reasons, which i wont bore you with. It's a much needed pick me up for today since the weather sucks and i have to work. the album also has an awesome song by Robert Smith called 'Perfect Blue Sky.' Love-love -love it.

thats it.

i missed the live stream of the Kroq AXC show, so that is bumming me out too.

starting over!

this is weird. new. ive been using myspace for the longest time, simply b/c you can add music to your page, how pathetic is that?! I am well aware that no one is going to read this, because really, lets face it. is my life that interesting? no. but i'm not ashamed.

what did i do today? i bought printer paper to print the first 98 pages of this thing i'm writing. i burned my dad a cd and got really into writing him a letter about why i did so. i fed my kids. i took the dog out. i dreaded going to work tomorrow. i downloaded a Morrissey video off itunes. I enjoyed my hazelnut coffee, and i started a new blog.

dave gahan is crooning to me through my headphones right now, and regret never seeing Depeche live. I guess i didnt really have the opportunity though, seeing as i was like...just born when they were popular. But still. I've seen The Cure twice, and they started in 1979 or something. By the way, the latest Cure tour was insanely awesome. Made me long to be 17 again, driving through the valley, lamenting on my tragic life. funny, how you dont realize how good you have it, how life is so simple when you are 17. would i go back? yes. yes i would. but not now. i like being my age now. if i could go back to 1998 and be 17 again i would. WOW. Ok, now i feel old!!!

And this is WAY too long.
